While watching a video (Sesame Street, "Let's make music") with my kids, I rediscovered this wonderful little clip.
Enjoy!

I have that video, and I have been saving it if I ever do a masterclass - to me it perfectly embodies the Jacobian principle of Song and Wind (although taken to an obvious extreme.)JHardisk wrote:While watching a video (Sesame Street, "Let's make music") with my kids, I rediscovered this wonderful little clip.

The tuba sounds great. What tuba are you playing on? To me it sounds like a large American piston valve.

Re: Rediscovered treasure
That was my HB-2P, about a month after I got it. Never really warmed up to that horn...
That was recorded right there on the set, amongst the 'characters'. It was a gas watching 'em horse around between takes.
No written music; they wanted something declarative / pomposo, so I just cobbled something together.
