Those interested in that might also be interested in knowing about the "Bugs Bunny on Broadway" symphony show and the "Bugs Bunny at the Symphony" show which allows the audience to see "What's Opera, Doc" (among other things) performed live. Fun stuff and your kids will love it.

An entire generation of post-WWII America was introduced to opera through this cartoon, and the one where Bugs is the conductor and holds the note while the tenor pops his decorum. Classic Warner Bros cartoons are still my favorites, as they have everything: plot development, character development, obvious humor (not just) for children, and nuance for adults.
