Just discovered a video from a concert I did with the Taiwan National Symphony Orchestra in 2005.
Vivaldi's Winter from The Four Seasons as well as Plau Concerto for tuba and strings.
It has been collecting dust in a drawer for years but as of today Vivaldi is posted here:

Who knows, maybe you'll enjoy watching it:)
The rest of the concert, Arild Plau concerto for tuba and strings, is here:

Learning Vivaldi was one of my most technically challenging tasks ever.
An orchestra in Norway asked me 20 years ago if I had anything spectacular for an upcoming concert. I had just listened to the Winter on the radio so I suggested optimistically: Lets play Vivaldi's Winter! Silence.... "You realize that this is a violin concerto ...and that you play the tuba? Well, good ... luck"
I understood the reason for the orchestra managers skepticism when I looked at the music for the first time. It was truly intimidating. Solution? Don't look at it:) During a 10 hour car trip I played the concerto over and over again on the stereo and learned it from memory instead. After that it was just a question about learning how to pull it off on the tuba. Twelve years later I did the piece with the Taiwan National Orchestra. This is what you hear on the recording.
Best wishes,

Mr. Oystein,
I listened to your recording earlier today through your facebook link, and I couldn't help but to watch it over again and again.
Your sonority is unbelievable and you provide endless inspiration for me and most of the tuba players I know.
I am still working on the articulation tips you gave me 2 months ago in Italy! Thank you again!
Best wishes
Itai

That was ridiculous (and that's a good thing!).
