Hello all,
I just wanted to share this video that my brass quintet put together. We made this for the Musical Performance Team (MPT) of the year competition. I hope you all enjoy!

Great video. You guys did a good job, and I especially enjoyed your tuba playing. Quite a few of us on this board were military musicians ----------- seeing and hearing the video made me very nostalgic.

For the equipment I used my Nirschl 6/4 CC for everything but the stars and stripes which was my goldbrass B&S symphonie F tuba. I use a blokepiece solo #1 and a helleberg small rim on both of them.KiltieTuba wrote:Sweet!
Which F tuba was that? It sounded great!

Is the F your personal instrument, or is it Army issued? -Acebububassboner wrote:For the equipment I used my Nirschl 6/4 CC for everything but the stars and stripes which was my goldbrass B&S symphonie F tuba. Naw the F is my horn. The Eb I used in Russia is an army horn (Geneva Eb, terrible tuba). I only use an army horn when we fly somewhere. Most army horns that I have played suck more than usual. We even got two 188s in my last unit and they were both dogs.
