This past Saturday evening, tubaist Ralph Hepola performed a highly-successful 90-minute concert at Crooners in Minneapolis as part of the Twin Cities Jazz Festival. Joining Hepola in a quartet setting were three of the finest jazz musicians in Minneapolis/St. Paul, Minnesota: pianist Peter Shu, bassist Jim Bierma and drummer David Stanoch.
