Any guess when this was filmed (Hindemith died in 1963)?
Includes a very good A.J. shot at about 1' 45" into part 1.

I wish I was alive 40+ years ago to hear them live...
The good news is that you can enjoy the great sound of the Chicago Symphony Brass today (as evidenced by their concert last December during Midwest Clinic).
That means in 40 years from now when some whippersnapper says "I wish I was alive 40+ years ago to hear them live..." you can just smile and know that you did.
Enjoy the present as well as the past.

Unusual seating arrangement for the brass - was that normal for the CSO in those days?
