You're correct...I missed the point. I find nothing funny about an adult intentionally tripping a child, for any reason.

after reading through the past forum i understand where you're coming from Todd. i merely posted this video as something that might get a rise out of somebody. TOTALLY GOOD INTENTIONS. if you were offended, I'm sorry. there are a plethora of reasons for the actions in the video and i just so happen to think the kid got what was coming to him. i'm not trying to make anyone mad so just chill.

I'm not mad at all, and I wasn't offended. I obviously have a problem in my writing style...looking like I'm pissed off or "preaching" at someone when my intention is only to present my point of view in an objective manner. I apologize for giving you or anyone else the impression that I was trying to attack you...I wasn't.

I do have a strong opinion about this video. I'm concerned that people think it's funny that an adult would intentionally hurt a kid like that. Whether he "deserved it" or not isn't the point...there are other ways besides that to handle such a situation.

This video is very popular all over the internet. I understand why you would post it. Heck, I laugh at the Funniest Home Video shows just like everyone else. But those are accidents, not an adult intentionally hurting a kid.

I just think it's irresponsible not to point out injustices when you see them. Too many people just look the other way when they see something wrong these days. If nobody speaks out, eventually no one will care about anybody but themselves.

I've seen this vid on several sites. I've send it to all my friends with the title "Don't f*ck with the Tuba!".
It's so funny. The kid was obvious in desperate need of attention....and he got it
