Hi all,

This group is playing some interesting new/old trad jazz style, but they seem to have very little PR or web site - just a few YouTube recordings and random blog references - as far as I can tell so far.

Anybody know more about them? They seem to play in NYC and New Orleans, maybe other places?

Got some info from the DJML - they are in a loose association with groups called "Loose Marbles," "Meschiya Lake and her Little Big Horns" and "Baby Soda" and there are a lot of youtubes of the crossover bands. Sweet street jazz and blues - very nice stuff!

Thanks for "discovering" this group and posting the links. The singer sounds like an incarnation of Sister Rosetta Tharpe! I, too, started checking out the associated links (Loose Marbles, etc.) and was mesmerized. Great stuff! I love this kind of music and am always heartened to see that the genre is still being embraced by young performers. Those folks must be having a lot of fun travelling and performing around the U.S. and Europe. And the swing dance duo adds a scintillating dimension to the entertainment!
