A few things from The Internet:

If you think there is a lot of tuba kitsch - there is WAY more frog stuff. I stumbled upon this Frogblog that has been posting various frog items for years... (it eventually evolved into dog and frog blog.)

Two Japanese made "Tuba Boys" (both from the 1930s, according to the info I have.)

and a Tuba Girl in current production:

All were found on the Net - probably under 4" tall.

Here are two pieces of utilitarian art, not two-dimensional.

The tie reminds me of possibly the worst tuba related comedy act I ever saw - A young woman with her tuba on stage, wraps her horn with a string, then says she is OK to date because she has her "Tuba(s) Tied"

(sorry, can't find a Youtube of this sub-classic event...)

Ken,

Where do those Santa tubas come from? I have not seen anything like them before!

Unfortunately Dave, I have no idea where they have come from. Over the years we would buy Christmas ornaments when we go on vacations (often times gift shops will have xmas ornaments with the location printed on them) We have picked these up at various gift shops here and there.

as for the Yosemite Sam, there was an entire set of characters playing instruments. I only bought the tuba player though. That one is pewter and very heavy!
