Sousaphone driving out of control, reeds are screaming and the trumpets and bones are rocking out - drums are good too... This reminds me of some late 1970s Banda LPs I have.

Some of the comments are not so favorable ;-)

I don't read Spanish so I don't know but many of the comments are written in capitals which suggests YELLING!

Would love to hear some of this in person in a large area. Seems kind of compressed because of the surroundings (and the mike being overloaded) in this clip.

Run the page through Google Translator (or some other web translators ) you will get the gist of the comments ;-)

This Wiki site has some good info on Bandas for further research.

I see what you mean! ;)

I've never used the translation function. It appears to work pretty good. Or at least good enough to know when someone is insulting me....

They seem to work better on Latin based languages - I have tried it with Dutch and German with apparently hilariously bad results (according to some Dutch and German speaking friends.) Technical terms are still a big problem with most of the automatic translators, but basic conversational stuff is usually tolerably good.
