Hey, who's the trombone player?
Cool stuff, looks like fun! Gonna bring the Eb on stage?

Well, I don't have it
quite yet (though I have "recommended" it to the band several times).

I was actually going to play euphonium on one of the songs we just recorded for their CD, but I didn't want to haul 2 big cases on the bus! So, same thing for the concerts. I do have some bari sax parts, but I'm also playing a
bass trombone so they're not really a problem.
Also, the bass player played tuba in high school and their first trombonist (brother-in-law or some such thing to one of the guys) has a doctorate in euphonium, I believe. So, if there were ever a rock band that would be receptive to having a tuba in it.....

I have been compiling a list of "rock bands" with tubas or Sousaphones for the last 20 years or so - while there are not
huge numbers of them, there are more than just a few. If you include blues and "world-fusion" bands the number jumps up quite a bit.
I have done several radio shows on KFJC FM that featured many of them - I will dig through my database and post a list sometime soon.

David, if your list should include "trop rock" bands, may I suggest:
