Holy He||!!! Wonderful! His instrument is exquisite as well - sounds like a pipe organ in the left hand (if you weren't watching that hand - watch!)

funny how living in KC made me immune to the singularity (for lack of coming up with a better word) of seeing things like this on accordion. There have been many truly world-class accordionists, including several world champions and many world finalists, who studied at UMKC. But, I'm still awed by it, not just because of the instrument, but by the sheer musicality and technique combined. It's fun to watch all button players on a fully chromatic accordion. I just can't figure out what key they're in!
I remember one Sinfonian bash at a college in MO. One of our members was the New Zealand national champion, and was programmed to play Galla Rini and Bach. I heard two guys behind me snickering "ah, he's gonna play the Beer Barrel Polka". Well, jaws dropped and those two were the first on their feet for a long standing O. I'll try to find some video of that guy, Kevin Freidrich.
