But this is kinda funny...The Kaiser being played by one of my flute friends Found out that our pic player had played sousa in high school, so I had her try out mine for fun. Even with the bottom bow resting on a chair, the top bow was still taller than her. This picture is of her playing...laugh if you'd like

Is that a big 6/4 or is she just small?
How did she sound? If she sounds OK, maybe the group can find a 3/4 horn for her to play.
Granted, is *is* easier to schelpp around a piccolo...

On Cerveny's website, it's called a 5/4. I think 6/4 is a safe bet to call it. And she's fairly short (up to my shoulder or so). We need her a lot more on flute (it's me and another guy holding down the tuba section, and she's really rocking the flute). Besides, she knows that she can blow my horn whenever she wants
