Hypnotic Brass Ensemble

Post by David Richoux »

( I don 't know why this band has not been mentioned on TubeNet before...)
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ggOVNYFlP7Q and there are many more related.

Some killer Sousaphone bottom for this Chicago 8 piece band - they are on a world tour right now.

Cool! I need to go see these guys (wonder if they'd let me sit in on bass trumpet or contrabass trombone? :D)!

I have seen their videos on YouTube, and can only say that TJ (the sousa player) rocks! Overall, this band sounds excellent. I encourage anyone to type in their name "Hypnotic Brass Ensemble" in the YouTube search and watch their performances. The sound from TJ is awesome. He takes lots of pride and passion in his playing. I'd like to see them in person one day.
