Putting a video on youtube?!?

I bought a computer camera a while back, and while it works fine for talking (not so fine for any movement at all) I'm having a very difficult time downloading a clip to youtube. The camera is an iHOME and I have been using the ArcSoft VideoImpression that came with it. I got this-
Failed (unable to convert video file)

When I downloaded a program off the internet (Any Video Converter) to convert my video and was FINALLY able to put it on youtube, it sounded the same (rather bad) but the visual was majorly speeded up- my 2:04 clip was only about 20 seconds long.


Any thoughts, or recommendations on a better camera to record the sound of a tuba? It made my King sound like the sick offspring of a bass sax and bass trombone (for once, not welcome...). Recording myself playing is the main reason I bought this camera!
