Most excellent and thanks for posting this.
I just love the dynamics- soft to loud, especially in "Gone". So many times bands just blast like hell and, rather than the band falling under the lead, the lead has to blast to the front...
I have a feeling this style of music is best with 'one and done' recording rather than cutting and editing. That's the way it was created and that's how it's normally played...
