Thanks for posting this. I'm forwarding the link to my son, a Chicago hornist who's often played with Clevenger and is a big fan of his. The few times I've heard Dale in concert, his playing was impeccable.

It was a privelege to go to Northwestern U and be coached by the likes of Dale, Cichowicz, Rex, Crisafulli, Gail Williams and others in the orchestral brass rep class when I went there in the early 90s. Dale wanted everything "Louder! Louder!"
