Greetings Tubenetters! Please enjoy this link to a YouTube video of my recording of my first work for unaccompanied tuba: THE GRUMPY TROLL!

I think it would be a great addition to anyone's OcTUBAfest program!
All the best,
Mike Forbes

Yes, Odins Dog...actually, I live here in Mount Horeb! Check out the YouTube video for pics of the town (and the brewery that inspired this piece)...

As for the other posts by DP and Tuben...well...I'm not sure what to make of it. I hope you enjoyed this new piece. And thank you to those of you who put in an order! I think you'll find the piece is easier to play than it sounds! Which is one of my goals as a composer!

Hi Mike!
That's a great piece in the tradition of Malcolm Armold, Penderecki and others.
I love the open fourth valve ostinato what a great idea!
I'm going to buy it straight away!
Is Sotto Voce planning a European Tour?
We would love to see you here in Geneve or Zurich.
Congratulations all the way from Switzerland.
Very warmest regards
