Everyone seems to have a 'better idea'. What's the difference between a bass trumpet, flugabone, valve trombone, trombonium, or true baritone horn anyway? They are all Bb and roughly the same timbre.

When I saw the term 'Superbone', the first thing that came to mind was Maynard Ferguson and the Holton 'Superbone'.

I don't understand why trumpet players are still hung up mostly on just three valves.

I built this thing for a pro a couple of years ago...

I second that motion, Dan. Very cool horn indeed. And so are the two Schagerl horns.
