Hi Doc,

I posted a response in the avatar question in the main tubnet in regard to this question. It appears the problem Duncan is having is that he has tried to use a web page as an image rather than to use the address of the jpg shown on that particular page.

Note that the url address Duncan lists in the IMG in his posts is http://www.hirsbrunner.com/lang/engl/in ... s_488.html when the actual image on that page has the address of http://www.hirsbrunner.com/lang/engl/in ... _gross.JPG

Paul is right. Did you get his explanation?

When you want to post a picture here that is hosted on another site, here are the steps you need to do:

• right-click on the picture in question (a window opens)
• click on properties
• highlight and copy the URL for that image (should be a jpg)
• then paste it into your post here
• now highlight that pasted link that's in your post
• click on 'Img' tag above
