People talk about those Boosey compensators being so stuffy but HoJo and Dave B. sure can make them sound fine. Dave used one back in the Blood Sweat and Tears days even.

At the beginning of that you tube you can see the audience, only about 30 or so. That small an audience surprises me.

Dave Bargeron plays on a Besson EEb,Howard retire his Mahillions and got Meinl Weston to make him a copy of his Mahillion called Hojo.Thanks for posting the interview with Howard.

The Meinl-Weston copy is of Howard's BBb Mahillon. He had a Mahillon 6 valve F that he replaced a long time ago in favor of a Boosey F.
