Hi All,
I'm thinking about building my own "Python" tuba as shown here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Wl-d1OMikho" target="_blank" target="_blank and here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=HDwtQcQIOqE" target="_blank" target="_blank but than a CC version with 5 valves.
Has anyone tried to do this also?
Any tips or lessons learned would be very welcome.
Regards,
Mark

Call Henry Lehnert. 1875.
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

As far as I know there are no 4 or 5 valve sousaphones... So if you have to build or change something, it beter should be fun!KiltieTuba wrote:Why not just get a helicon or sousaphone?
While it's neat, it certainly presents some challenges if you fall down.
And just don’t fall!

4 valves are quite common, and I have no doubt that there are a few 5's roaming around out there...
