Just saw this ad tonight for some kind of Ameritrade app - horrible waste of a good looking Sousaphone. Hardly worth the 30 seconds of your life.

Looks to me like it might be one of the sousa-shaped objects from India....perhaps that is the best use we can expect, from one of those. It may have fulfilled it's destiny! :D

At least the sousaphone has some media exposure. Shiny, new, Indian TSO IMHO.

Interesting - if it's one of those crappy Indian horns, I'd say it's a great use for it.....

When it's time to crack a joke, the world turns to their favorite fatman, the tuba.

Y'know, I've never really understood this stereotype - the overwhelming majority of tuba players I've known over the last 40+ years have been either average, or even slim, in their weight.

If someone could explain where this comes from, I'd love to hear it.

I'm with these guys, that's about all that horn's good for. (Looks like a SAI Eb Sousa btw)

In fact, the only better use I can think of is destroying it so it doesn't get into the hands of some poor sap who thinks he's getting a deal...
