This year's guy, seemingly, was clueless.
I got the best results via turning the youtube audio level to about half, and adjusting everything else. I suspect the guy pegged everything, audio-wise.

Sounds good and the organ doesn't change intonation with the slightest temperature change in the church. I've played in too many old churches where the organ wanders all over...

I’ve gone to using a sticky dash pad to hold tuba in place, ala Olka. Enjoying the freedom of no stand, but yet security to still move slides. Gig bag significantly lighter too.

Other than whose which were - on the face of them - absurd, I've tried out most every new gimmick.
this particular one:
- lugging around several extra pounds of gadgetry to/from the car
- CNS (craned neck syndrome)
