Good music to play at a church. Nice, bloke.

Aren't you happier, though, when you don't need to "compete" with the organ (or timps, for that matter)?

We all say that after we turn 60!

Sounds good and the organ doesn't change intonation with the slightest temperature change in the church. I've played in too many old churches where the organ wanders all over...

I’ve gone to using a sticky dash pad to hold tuba in place, ala Olka. Enjoying the freedom of no stand, but yet security to still move slides. Gig bag significantly lighter too.

NO....use a stand to keep playing into your 70’s & 80’s!! Your legs, hips, back, and shoulders will thank you in the long run... :D

PS. A non slip /sticky dash pad works very good too...
