Seasons Greeting Folks!

Just a quick plug for Rep Decks Tuba Edition.
Rep Decks are normal playing cards with the added feature of displaying a different musical quote in the middle of the each card. For the Tuba Edition, the excerpts are 54 little snippets for the standard tuba audition repertoire.
You can play normal card games or you can download the free Studio Series Games Manual to play over a dozen games that test your knowledge of tuba audition rep.

Watch a YouTube promo video at https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EPZNiDZHOvk then pick up a deck for yourself or a fellow tuba enthusiast for this holiday season.

Cheers,
Ken

I considered doing a euphonium deck for the Studio Series. However, the Studio Series is all about audition excerpts. I don't think I'd be able to find 54 pieces that would be consider standard euphonium audition repertoire. :( It was hard enough doing the string decks (Surprisingly, strings have much fewer pieces that show up on auditions. They seem to recycle the same 20-25 pieces on every audition).

Sorry. I make joke. Anything above the stave I consider Euphonium/Trombone/Bass music.

Maybe there should be a Junior or Band audition version?? :tuba:

There are some professional band audition excerpts in the deck -- the stuff that shows up on military band auditions.

I thought of the characteristics of my target audience and did a drinking/gambling version of the games manuals. Then my son reminded me that there would be alot of underage players and I'd likely be sued when one of them tries to play The Ride with a blood alcohol of .15 and breaks something important as they pass out. :P So that manual is only available by request.
