Well, so long as you (or your wife) won more than $20 on the first nickel and then left, you would, in fact, top that! :D

Perhaps, as do many who find themselves in the middles of various controversies and manage to commandeer local or national microphones, I should compare myself to Jesus...??

As far short of measuring up to His example as you may find yourself, you may in fact be closer than most who commandeer national microphones. Sad but true.

We all know that. He would take it to the bank! Or maybe in light of his recent posts on another subject, hide it under his mattress.

On his way home from Denver, Knuxie stopped by here and joined me in playing for the church services at Beacon Baptist tonight. Had a great time, Ken! Have a safe trip home!

Back last week from a 1400 mile motorcycle trip with 25 other women riders, and dove right in to a weekend with 3 rehearsals, a parade and two concerts. Same on tap for next weekend, with an extra concert thrown in.

Just had a good chuckle. In a book that I am reading (I know, hard to believe, and it doesn't even have pictures), I ran across this definition:

Tradition- Stupidity on Purpose

Discuss amongst yourselves.

We are now on one of my favorite topics, stupidity.

Stubborn and ardent clinging to one's opinion is the best proof of stupidity.
Michel de Montaigne

Earnestness is stupidity sent to college.
P. J. O'Rourke

Egotism is the anesthetic that dulls the pain of stupidity.
