Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

Out there??? Nah. I was more making a point about blindly following anyone, not comparing you to any "alternative church" leaders. ;-) (actually, despite what you may think, I agree with you on a lot of issues, but that is treading with 'verboten' topics here, so I won't get into that.)

Mostly, I consider myself a bit of an outsider on TubeNet. I don't post frequently (more lately than usual, it seems), mostly because I just don't have much to add, especially in the main forum. There's a whole ton of people who can answer legit questions better than I can (many of whom do). Plus, I'm not much of a gear-head...I've got one horn, play it the best that I can, and believe that most, if not all, the things I don't like about what comes out the bell are "user error."

So, I'm content to occasionally post something on the off-topic board. Sometimes someone has something to add to what I've said, sometimes, they don't. Still provides me with something to do during my occasional downtime. I'm cool with it.

I was the first to use the term "TubeNet freak jury"
But this was after a similar term was used in connection with the O. J. Simpson trial.

Hey Wade, this ^ guy sure isn't me! I would only say "jive sucka" and never just "sucka."

ed, my funny friend, you should accept the things you cannot change. By engaging Bloke, you only push his post count higher, which seems to be the item you initially objected to.

For the record, I favor reinstating 12 inch pianist in place of ed.

Ok, really? What is the point of such a statement? You couldn't send him a PM? Yes, I could have sent this to you in a PM but this needs to be said. I have HEARD of Wade Rackley, aka "the elephant." Who are YOU? All I know is that you are in McAllen, TX. I don't remember there being a school there, so I'm guessing you're not a student. I've made it quite clear who I am and there are some on this board who know me. What I am ABSOLUTELY SICK OF ARE ALL OF THESE CHICKEN SH*** who are internet tough guys and more than likely could NOT back up ANYTHING. There has been too much of this garbage lately on this forum. The bottom line is that there are certain individuals on this board who have been on here MUCH longer than YOU. So quit this "I'm going to challenge and/or ridicule the established ones" and grow up!

If you really want my address or phone number, I will PM it to you, but I doubt you do.

ok everyone...

Lets all take a deep breath, drink a few beers, and calm down.

Tuba players are supposed to be a jovial bunch, not a group that would argue heatedly over very little on a internet forum.

Yep. I dropped the ball. Houston. I say Houston because you asked in another thread why McAllen instead of Houston. So then, what school in the area do you go to? Hmm?

Come on, Ed -- have a beer (or other beverage of choice, depending on your circumstances), kick back, and enjoy life instead.

Now, just where is that picture of the tuba bell full of beer with the guy smiling up at it?

Sigh....

In one corner, we have a disgruntled TubeNetter who decides to don his cape and mask and become....

Ed the Super Troll

The goal being to take the TubeNet Inner Circle Super-Clique down a peg.

In the other corner, we have....

The TubeNet Inner Circle Super-Clique (hey, we're not supposed to use Freak Jury anymore, right???)

The ICSC knows exactly what Ed the Super Troll is doing, and continue bait him, because they find it amusing. I suspect they know exactly who they are dealing with, and take the entire matter far less seriously.

He Has Really strong conviction to his cause and will continue to fight his fight wherever he sees the opportunity.

Who will win???

Tune in next week for the next edition of,

"As the Silly Little Tuba BBS Turns"
