You can buy it now in the United States, but when I was in Ecuador (August 1983) we drank Inca Kola all the time.



There was a story about how a man from New York City went down to Quito. He tried some and thought it tasted pretty good. He brought a couple of bottles to take home.

When he got home, he took the kola to a chemist's office. Two day later, the chemist sent him a reply:

Regret to tell you, your horse is very sick! Shoot him to relieve his misery!
