A very good Irish Breakfast Tea as I return from the depths of pneumonia. I have been informed by SWMBO that I will demonstrate my return to health when I am back consuming strong coffee. Not quite there yet...

Burial Beer Company's Skillet Donut Stout, a stout brewed with Counter Culture coffee. One of (if not) my favorite coffee stouts.

A local beer called Finnegan's. It's okay.

You know, I haven't been to one since moving here... But silly Minnesota won't allow grocery stores to sell beer. So unless its a separate shop adjacent o the Aldi, no dice.
FWIW, a few years back.I went to.Berlin, and there was an Aldi near my hotel. Plentiful, cheap beer.

Re: What are YOU drinking right now?
That sucks. Aldi sometimes has some pretty good wines and beers for cheap. The trouble is.... sort of like shopping at Sam's.... if you find something you like it's not likely to be there the second time you go.bort wrote:You know, I haven't been to one since moving here... Life is good! Sitting on my deck in 60 degree 50% humidity weather watching a full moon come into view over the trees, while grilling Jack Daniels marinated chicken breasts with peppers and onions on the side, and also enjoying a fine Rose from the South of France. Life is good!
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.

Re: What are YOU drinking right now?
Just tap water right now. However... last night I DID have my monthly share of a big bowl of salty popcorn and a wine glass full of Jameson's Irish Whiskey.
Tonight's 'band night' and I'm sure a few of us will do a couple of pitchers of whatever dark is on tap at the local watering hole afterwards. We will be celebrating the sixteen years of The Old Dam Community Band tonight. The official founding date is February 29, 2000 so this splendid occasion only comes around once every four years!
