My Tuba Is Famous! (I'm not.)

Postby iiipopes » Wed Jun 20, 2012 10:30 pm

My sister-in-law is the media officer/public relations person for the City of Springfield, Missouri. They're doing a noise pollution/good neighbor campaign. She borrowed my tuba for the public service announcement, shot in "Edwardian" black-and-white with ragtime piano backing track. Here's the link (my tuba is towards the end):

Curry 128D Kanstul Custom 18 Kelly 18 Taku (N.S.)
Fanned fret electric and bass guitars
If you ever see a King Super 20 trumpet
in silverplate serial #330XXX,
please let me know!

I think I'll send that clip to my Christian/Rock drummer nextdoor neighbor. The FFFF rim shots at 2AM this morning were a bit unessessary.
I am fortunate to have a great job that feeds my family well, but music feeds my soul.
