Damn, Joe.... you got me started! I went to the grocery with the Mrs. this afternoon. It ALWAYS pisses me off that the heifers in the store don't abide by the 'rules of the road'. It really makes me wonder how they manage to stay on the right side of the road when driving a car or figure out the difference between 'through' and 'side' streets.

Our new neighbors slam their front door all the time. If it's that loud for US, how loud must it be for THEM?!

Because obviously, you can't afford a new one! :P
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?

I teach at a rural school about 17 miles from my house in the city. On my way home last week, traveling at the 55 mph speed limit, a pickup hauling a boat on a trailer decided that he didn't want to wait until after I had crossed his intersection (maybe another five seconds....) and pulled out in front of me. I could see it coming, so I didn't even come close to hitting him, but having to slow down to 30 mph when he could have waited and had plenty of room to pull out after I passed him is just annoying. :x

To which my reply would be: I read a lot of scientific studies.

For you to claim that your statement isn't political is pure bullshit, and you know it. You're entitled to your opinion, although I don't appreciate your attitude. I am not attempting to argue with the point you're making, although I am quite tempted to do so, but that would make MY post political, and make ME a hypocrite. You know what you were doing. Don't try to claim you don't.

I stand by my original response.
