I used mine after long periods of downtime. Always works fine. Just make sure if you get new cards/accounts, you update them on your account before you try and use them.

Yes, indeed. An account seems to last "forever," but must be updated with a current demand deposit account as a primary and a current credit card as a backup to remain functional.
