The snow from November-79.5 inches did melt, but now we probably have about 4 feet of snow since then on the ground--very hard turning out of a parking lot into traffic due to the fact the snow piles are so darn high and you can't see oncoming traffic....just another day in paradise....

That's why God invented Florida.
I resemble that remark.
Although I've lived in Florida for over 55 years, my wife and I were thinking about relocating to Raleigh, NC area to be closer to our sons and 7 grand-kids. But we really do feel the cold being older. It was 48F here this morning, currently 58F but will get down to 38F tomorrow morning. I wouldn't dare complain though since it's so much colder north of here.

- in the greenhouse - 92 degrees.
- in the house - 66 degrees (that's what we keep it at).
- in the shop - 56 degrees (expending LOTS of energy but not sweating!).
- in the buffing room - 38 degrees.
- outside - 8 degrees.

We made it into double digit positive numbers here in the Twin Cities metro this morning. The car said 11 when I took the little Princess to preschool.
It is now Friday afternoon and the temp is -1 degrees and the windchill is -20 degrees. And a transformer bank went out this morning, so power was out and is now back on but it is chilly in the house as the furnace trys to play catch up...but it is nice & sunny outside

It was fun while it lasted. I got good and muddy the day before yesterday. I had one of the ship's photographers shoot a picture of me and the missus all covered in mud. I told the photographer she was taking a dirty picture.
Welcome back! Next time... leave TubeNet at home. Not that we don't like you, but you don't need us clowns on your vacation, do you?
