Seriously, the amount of spam on here is becoming very worrisome.
The level of caution needed to browse this site is approaching "not worth it" levels for me. Even though I'm careful... I'm so worried that a mistake will eventually happen. What's it going to take to get this place cleaned up?

Yep, I've been there for a while already. Good site, but low traffic right now. And, I can never remember the URL.

Book...mark?
Joe, great idea about the signatures. I nominate you to write the copy/paste code for our signature lines.
(Kidding, I can make my own. Plus this book-mark thing you speak of. )

You can also pull up any post I've made. In the right side where my avatar is, there's one of them icons that tells you there's a link there. That's the link to our board. Yeah, it's a bit slow right now. And you'll have to wait a bit for either me or Schlepporello to get around to activating your account. But you'll be in before the day ends. All ne registrants have to be manually approved by either Schlepp or myself. Yes, we could use the kaptcha method. That's what Sean uses here. You can see how well it's working. And now you know why we're not using it.bort wrote:Book...mark?

Have I mentioned that I've already blocked 5 Rusky spammers on my board?

Here's who's listed as moderators.Jose the tuba player wrote:So is no one a moderator right now?

Schlepporello has stepped down. He still tries to come in periodically and clean things up until Sean appoints another moderator. But the days of him doing this are coming to an end very soon. He and I have formed our own board. When he finally severs all ties with this board, I won't be far behind.

Re: About all the spam...
I'll have to check out the new site at home... didn't realize it was out there, and doesn't look like it will connect on my government computer... they block all sorts of forums... I'm actually surprised this one still works from the office...
