Einstein, a legal alien, US citizen and bona fide genius got a rejection letter from a university regarding his most famous theories.

Therefore; every batshit crazy illegal alien should be welcome.

I'm confident THAT is the "point!!"

(CNN)Sen. Elizabeth Warren delivered a fiery condemnation of Donald Trump on Tuesday, continuing her role as an unflinching antagonist to the presumptive Republican nominee and leading both high profile politicians to sharply and publicly mock each other.
In a speech at the Center for Popular Democracy's annual gala, the progressive stalwart took aim at Trump's business record and populist rhetoric during a 10-minute invective, and Trump responded by calling Warren "Pocahontas," reviving a 2012 controversy how the Massachusetts senator described her Native American heritage.

I wasn't a Trumpster, but that's worth the price of admission right there!!

(Though I believe the term is Faux-cahontas)

The relativity theory they poo-poo'd was ironically proved true by having been mailed via a USA stamp commemorating the man they had previously discredited decades hence!!

Republicans: Lincoln (tariff war on southern America - 3/4 million killed...mostly on his side), Bush's (Kuwait, Iraq, Afghanistan, etc.), as, again, both Lincoln and the Bush's were big-governent statist/progressives)

You can't be serious.....speaking of Lincoln and Bush together in one breath

Makes you wish Obama could be like FDR, and run for another term... 8)

PS. The most important difference in the Left vrs the Right for this election:
Who gets to nominate Supreme Court candidates....

What does any of this have to do with the fake letter you posted at the top of this thread?

...the attack of which (viewed by the Japanese as a last resort of desperation) resulted from constant razzing of Japan by the United States of America regarding the acquisition of rubber, petroleum, and many other resources - as FDR was fond of China and disliking of Japan.

Here is Robert Higgs (72 year old economic historian and economist) very brief expansion (with only minimal details) which flesh out your fact:

 http://www.independent.org/newsroom/article.asp?id=1930

bloke " 'History' is presented in simplistic (if not patriotically tainted) terms to school children. To discover true history requires research. Higgs' mini-article is still only a very skeletal summary."

 I'm willing to change the subject as often as anyone wishes to do so...as long as I can keep track of what the subject of any given post is.
Mr. Higgs doesn't mention the "Greater East Asia Co-Prosperity Sphere" or the fact that Kichisaburō Nomura, who was the Japanese ambassador to the United States up till the attack, did his best to convince his government to negotiate rather than start a war. Obviously, and quite regrettably, his efforts failed.

The Lovely Naoko and I visited Hiroshima the last time we were in Japan together. Quite the sobering experience.

Yeah, if you look at the states that have actually decided that personal freedom beats a failed drug war, it's clear that there isn't much of a correlation with the every-man-for-himself teenage Ayn Rand fantasy society that otherwise seems to be the Libertarian ideal. People think of it as sort of a buttoned-down anarchism, but anarchism is really much more responsible. I'd be an anarchist if I had the social skills.

Seriously though. This may be a familiar matter to many of us. Ever been in a band, with more than 3 or 4 players but without formal authority structure? It's ... interesting. A lot of stuff happens quite naturally - really, anarchy is our natural state, to the extent that it could be seen as kind of a breakdown of society when our actions are really commanded by any authority, so this is hardly a surprise - but there can be some rather extensive deliberations at times, and it takes a lot of patience, confidence in each other and general good will.
