A buddy of mine and fellow concert band musician plays the alto clarinet. Back before I moved away, we performed in the same college ensemble, and on rehearsal nights a bunch of us would go out for pizza and beer at the same ol' haunt close to the school. While not a bad neighborhood, normally we parked in the front parking lot where we could keep an eye on our vehicles given the valuables inside, just to be safe.

Well, one Thursday evening we gathered after practice, and the restaurant was more crowded than usual for the late hour. So Bruce had to park in the back lot, slightly concerned because he'd left his alto on the back seat as the trunk was full. OK, not to worry, we'd never had problems. The usual camaraderie ensued, and we break up to go home. Bruce gets out to his car and a rear side window was broken out. His worst nightmare was realized...

...he now had two alto clarinets.

(Same joke works for violas, BTW.)

No, with violas the car’s full... :D
Instead of talking to your plants, if you yelled at them would they still grow, but only to be troubled and insecure?
