Sumner Erickson released a record of these etudes only a few years ago. I know it has been previosuly mentioned on TubeNet, so a search should bring up the specific recording details.

Actually, I am totally mistaken. Sumner recorded the Vasiliev etudes, NOT the Blazevich. Next time, I guess I'll read the post more carefully.

They are also available in a Bill Bell book of a title that I cannot now recall, and in Donald Knaub's publication, Progressive Techniques for the tuba. The numberings are all the same as the Robert King publication I believe.

Is the rhythm where you are having trouble? If so, set your metronome to a slow six beats per measure (e.g. 60 bpm) and set it to beat eighths and sixteenths (subdivide). Once you have the rhythm down at that speed increase it gradually until you can get it back into 2 beats per measure.
