I have to give a congrats out to Phil Giampietro, a friend of mine I went to Ithaca with. What a fantastic player, and I'm glad to hear that someone from IC is out there doing a good job of playing. Go get 'em Phil!!!

if there's anyone out there who's familiar with the michael grady piece...are there any possible errors/misprints that you noticed? i know that i did...i'd rather ignore them and play the ink but...eh. does anyone have errata for this piece? or any way to contact mr. grady?

Also from the north Texas area:

Richard Murrow from TCU with two students (not his first, by far) in the competition
Ed Jones from UTA with two students (not his first) in the competition and
Jason Wallace (who lists Ed Jones as his teacher) with one student in the competition.

There's a lot of good teaching and playing going on in this area.

Practicing results in increased atmospheric CO2 thus causing global warming.
