Colburn School tuba opening for Fall 2010

Post by Norm Pearson »

There will be one tuba opening at The Colburn School for fall 2010.

The Colburn School Conservatory of Music offers four programs of study: the Bachelor of Music in Performance degree, the Performance Diploma, the Artist’s Diploma, and the Professional Studies Certificate. These programs offer full support (tuition, room and board) to highly talented students pursuing the highest levels of classical music performance training. Admission is highly selective and requires a formal application and audition.

We have a terrific brass faculty: Jim Wilt (trumpet) Mark Lawrence (trombone/brass chair) David Krehbiel (horn) Fritz Kaenzig and Norm Pearson (tuba)

The deadline for the application, supporting materials and pre screening DVD is January 15. Auditions will be held on Monday March 22.

For more information about The Colburn School and the application process please visit the Colburn School website: http://www.colburnschool.edu/" target="_blank

Feel free to email me if you have any questions.
