Great job, great benefits.

If anyone has questions about the job or the tuba audition, please feel free to send me a PM.

Thanks,
Chris

Just out of Curiosity ...

Does anyone actually know someone who got called to a live audition ?

I know alot of people who got turned down ... including myself :(

With all the openings available I found this pretty surprising...

And actually another question (this is not to start flames, this is just to ask). Does one have to be Canadian to audition for this?

I know of two who received invitations to the next round -- the live auditions.

To the folks on this board who auditioned, any of you get a call?

PMEuhp, I haven't followed this very closely so forgive me if this is more common knowldege: how many openings are there (and where, if you know)?

Idonèt know exactly how many openings there are , but here is what I know :

The entire branch is about 40 people under capacity (thats an entire band !)

Most of the bands have trombone players playing euph. (some do a great job at it )

As for where the positions where opened there is no specific place beacuse they can post anyone anywhere, but from what Ive heard Edmonton(RCA) is the most understaffed band.

Congratulations to Bobbie Ford who won the audition.

She has been offered a tuba spot with the Central Band in Ottawa.

They actually accepted two players, Bobbie Fast (formerly Ford) was one of them, anyone know the other player?

Congrats to both of them!
