Are you sure that check bounced? I still had checks, so I still should have had money. At any rate, you still owe me for the dinner I paid for after Richard Gere's "Gerbil Etiquette" Forum. Who knew he was on work release from animal cruelty charges, I thought he loved Gerbils. But I digress. Do the Kleenex have to be unused?
CONGRATULATIONS to Jamie, Cale and Matthew!!!!! You guys worked VERY hard to earn those positions, and you deserve to have full time positions in professional world.
Yet, I am very sorry that this thread got high-jacked by a bunch of people who...

I'm going to speak with the DB tomorrow morning, but they have at least 2 grad students and university rules state that to teach grad students you have to have your master's degree at minimum. Since I opted to go back into the public schools last year I didn't finish my degree. I'm hoping though that I might be able to get on as adjunct and do the undergrad lessons. We'll see what happens.
Found out that the UND position was advertised as per the hiring rules. Dr. Joel Pugh was part time last year and offered a full time position this year. Good luck to Dr. Pugh and the UND low brass studio.
Congratulations to the recently hired professors, and good luck with your semester.
The advertised position is filled by Mr. James Saliers. Thank you to all who were interested in the position.
I think I am qualified to confirm that we have a full-time prof and an adjunct prof for the tuba and euphonium studio at Texas A&M University-Kingsville. We have 25 tuba and/or euphonium majors at our school, and some of you may have seen us at the Regional Tuba Euphonium Conferences. Since we don't use teaching assistants, we do need two professors to teach all the students. I do conduct the orchestra as well, but that is a very small part of my work load. I hope this clarifies. If you think my studio is huge, take a look at the trumpets and the trombones...
