Just a note from one of Richard's former students and UNM alum--- This is a fantastic opportunity for anyone wishing to get to the next level of tuba playing, musicianship, and developing a career. Richard White is an outstanding tubist on both C and F tuba and is an active performer as orchestral tubist, soloist, and chamber musician. My years of studying with him were invaluable and have continued to fuel my development on the tuba and all aspects of my career.

UNM and Albuquerque are also great places to gain experience. I was able to actively freelance while I was a student and was able to grow from opportunities in the area as much as I did from my experience at school. If I were considering a masters degree, UNM would be at the top of the list. Check it out and definitely get a lesson from Richard!

Sincerely,

Paul Carlson

Thanks Paul, you are appreciated. I have scholarships for euphonium players as well both (undergrad/masters), and a possible assistantship if the euphonium player is interested in conducting (MM).
