The University of Texas at San Antonio-Tuba & Euphonium Audition, scholarships and free tuition

Post by pofftuba »

We have a limited number of openings for tuba and euphonium for Fall 2022. I would like to offer you the opportunity for you to visit the UTSA campus and have a free, no obligation lesson, or we can do a lesson on Zoom if that is more comfortable for you. I feel this is one of the most important decision you will make in your musical career and meeting is the best way to discuss your future plans.

One of the things that makes UTSA unique is our tuba/euphonium ensemble The Boom Squad. You can find out more here:

https://www.facebook.com/utsa.boomsquad/

Below is some information that will guide you in the process of becoming a music student at UTSA.

How do I audition for a scholarship?

We have some music scholarships available for Fall 2022 admission. You will need to audition in person on one of the scholarship audition days, February 19, 2022 or March 5, 2022. You will need to first apply to UTSA and be accepted before you can schedule your audition, so apply early. You will only be considered for a music scholarship if you have completed both your application to UTSA and your audition application. Please follow this link for more information on the audition process:

Please note that there are additional scholarship opportunities available via the general scholarship fund at UTSA. It’s strongly encouraged that you complete your UTSA application early so you get the best financial offer from the University. This will also allow you ample time to schedule your scholarship audition for the music department. Please visit http://www.utsa.edu/scholarships/ to learn more about the many other scholarship opportunities available at the University of Texas at San Antonio.
