Bowling Green

Post by Dave2ba »

I will be taking over the tuba/euphonium instruction at Bowling Green State University in Bowling Green, Ohio. Tim Olt left a very talented studio in my hands and I wish him great success in his new adventures in the greater Cincinatti area.

If you are interested please take a look:

You can also e-mail me privately if you so wish.

In turn, I am taking over for Mr. Saltzman at the University of Honolulu-Manoa as lecturer of tuba. Looking forward to getting started this week, at that. Dave, glad to hear things are going well in Ohio; I've got big shoes to fill here, both in the orchestra and at UH.

Greetings all,

It was a very hard decision for me to leave BG, but knowing David is taking over has made it easier. I wish him and the studio nothing but the best for the future! Be sure to take a look at him, he's a great guy!

Best wishes,

Tim

I know nothing. It may just be that they now have a tenure track position and are required to do a search. I know that he does a good job and is supported by other faculty.

Doug has it right, we FINALLY have been able to make the tuba/euph position at K-State a tenure track. All tenure track positions here must be open for a national search.
