University of the Cumberlands
I have accepted the Assitant Professor of Low Brass and Director of Bands position at the University of the Cumberlands in Williamsburg, KY. I will be teaching tuba, euphonium and trombone as well as conducting the marching/concert bands.
I will be moving my Beautidel Music Press operation down there soon, too. I expect to keep my 608 phone number if'n any of y'all need to get ahold of me in the next month or so - and you will still be able to order right from our website, (paypal or major credit card) beautideljazz.com
Peace,
Sean

It'll be great to have publishing house that specializes in Tuba-Euph music in KY.

The Montana State position is being filled by Pat Carney (not Carrie). Someone had mentioned that he did his grad work at Oregon -- he was actually interim faculty there last year. He received his DME from Florida State. And he is, in fact, a tooba player.
For what it's worth (which isn't very much).

Greetings all!
Those at Grand Valley are in for a treat (not that having Kent wasn't, what a hard act to follow!). Dan Clouse is an excellent player and teacher, and is also a wonderful person. As is true with any change, I am sure some things will be different, but the studio should not suffer. Oh, to be a student again and have the chance to study with those two!
Best of luck at the new position Dan!

I know Dan will do a great job. I know he's happy to be back in that area, too.

Let me just throw one more congrats to Dan. . . oops, I mean Professor Clouse. Boy the list of college profs playing Gnageyphones is growing quickly. Hope you enjoy being back up in Michigan.
