The University of Northern Iowa School of Music is currently offering scholarships for incoming tuba and euphonium students. UNI is known as one of the premier Music Education programs in the midwest, and also offers degrees in Performance, Music Production, Composition, and Performing Arts Management. Students will have plenty of opportunities to perform in one of UNI's large ensembles (wind ensemble, symphonic band, or orchestra) and in chamber ensembles as well. UNI is also the home of UNITUBA, one of the first collegiate tuba-euphonium ensembles in the United States. We regularly host guest masterclasses and recitals with world-renowned artists and teachers (for example: Gene Pokorny in March 2022). In addition to scholarships awarded by the School of Music ALL out-of-state applicants to UNI automatically receive a $5,000 scholarship.
