Calling all tuba players! The United States Navy Band announces an immediate vacancy for Tuba in the Concert and Ceremonial Band. The audition will take place at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, D.C. on Wednesday, February 28, 2024. Applications must be submitted by Monday, January 15, 2024. There will be no mandatory pre-screening round for this audition, however, applicants can choose to attend the live preliminary round OR submit a recording in lieu of a preliminary round. Starting salary for a new member of the U.S. Navy Band is $73,056 - $78,096. Other benefits include 30 days paid leave annually, full medical coverage for members and their dependents, education tuition assistance, the G.I. Bill, and student loan repayment up $65,000.
