NIU Graduate Assistantship in Brass

A graduate assistantship will be awarded by the
NIU School of Music to an outstanding brass-playing candidate pursuing their Master of Music degree or graduate Performer’s Certificate for fall 2024. Exceptional candidates who are not awarded the graduate assistantship may still be eligible for a full tuition waiver for graduate study.

Position
Graduate assistantship in brass (trumpet, trombone, horn or tuba/euphonium) 2024-2026.
Duties: Teach brass techniques course to music education students. Perform in School of Music ensembles and assist with brass area administrative duties
as assigned.

Stipend
Ten-hour assistantship with a stipend of $7,668.
Full tuition Waiver.
