Hi Everyone.

I’m teaching at the University of Puget Sound now. We have openings for tuba and euphonium (both music majors and non-music majors) with substantial scholarship money available. In particular, there is a lot of money available for tubists interested in a music major.

Puget Sound is a high quality liberal arts college located 30 miles south of Seattle, WA. There are ample opportunities to perform and study in the greater Seattle area and we also have a highly regarded education program (a five year BA/MAT sequence).

For more information please contact me.

Ron has not taught at UPS for some time. Before Ryan, Chris Olka was the tuba instructor at UPS. I think Chris took over from Ron.

Also, I think that Ivan Giddings is on the Community Music faculty.

If you don't know Ryan:

As Daryl said, Ron retired. He wanted to move on.

His tenure was marked by years of thoughtful events, recitals, and great teaching.

Both Ron and Chris recommended me for this position and continue to be great resources during the transition.

I look forward to building on what they started.
